ABOUT ROSS
Ross Outerbridge has been using pictures to tell stories for as long as he can remember. He picked up his first camera when he was seven years old (well before the days of cell phones and selfies.) Since then, he has used the camera as a tool to document his perspective on the world around him. He then turned it into his profession and uses his unique vantage point to tell other people’s stories and to expose the hidden layers (quite literally in the case of his work in the medical field.)
Ross has committed himself to always growing and perfecting his craft. He holds Accreditations in Sports Photography, Figure Study and Birth Photography from the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) as well as the Master of Photographic Arts (MPA). Currently he is the BC Director to the National Board of Directors and the Chair of PPOC. Ross has spent periods of his career perfecting his craft working in specific sectors such as professional sports photography and medical photography both of which require a very specific technical approach that have been perfected through that experience.
Ross is based in Kamloops, BC though originally hails from Ontario. He is available for shoots in the Kamloops, Revelstoke and Southern Interior of BC.
